他们在森林里迷路了，更糟的是夜晚开始降临了。
They lost their way in the forest,and [u]what was worse was night began to fall[/u].

yeah, of course yours are right,but I think it  must be "They lost their way in the forest,and what was worse was that night began to fall",can you agree with me ?
