[p=21, 2, left]Ian Fleming was the [b]creator[/b] of the[b]fictional[/b] [url=http://d.24en.com/s/?wd=character]character[/url] James Bond 007 and wrote 14 Bond books during his lifetime, including some of the very well-known ones such as Casino Royale, Diamonds are Forever and Goldfinger.[/p][p=21, 2, left]Ian Fleming died in 1964 but the [b]legacy[/b] of Bond carries on.[/p][p=21, 2, left]Since Ian Fleming's death, his [b]estate[/b] has authorised 32 James Bond novels by other writers. Sebastian Faulks, a reputable novelist, was[b]commissioned[/b] to write the latest Bond book.[/p][p=21, 2, left]Faulks is not an author known for writing thrillers, so there was some[b]speculation[/b] that he would struggle to write a Bond novel successfully.[/p][p=21, 2, left]A review in the British newspaper the Guardian said, "The book, though, is a smart and enjoyable act of [b]literary resurrection[/b]. Amongst the now 33 post-Fleming Bonds, this must surely compete with Kingsley Amis's for the title of the best."[/p][p=21, 2, left]Devil May Care is set in 1967 during the [b]Cold War[/b] and it is said that Bond will once again travel between [b]continents[/b], appearing at [b]exotic[/b] locations and some of the world's most thrilling cities.[/p][p=21, 2, left]It’s fair to say that James Bond has become a [b]household[/b] name and remains a huge influence within the [b]thriller genre[/b] through his films.[/p][p=21, 2, left]It’s a double bonus for Bond fans as the new Bond film will be released later this year. The name of the new film is Quantum of Solace, a very[b]confusing[/b] title which makes people [b]scratch their heads[/b].[/p][p=21, 2, left]Daniel Craig has been the latest James Bond and will [b]star[/b] again in Quantum of Solace. The new film is the [b]sequel[/b] to the 2006 film Casino Royale. Craig said he felt Casino Royale was "[b]a walk in the park[/b]" compared to Quantum of Solace.[/p][/size][/font][/color]
