[size=10.5pt][font=宋体] "Special attention should be paid to the sharp rise in credit card fraud," he said, adding that credit card fraud cases alone jumped almost one-third in the first half of the year, with criminals netting 44.6 million yuan （$5.98 million）, Ministry of Public Security spokesman Wu Heping reminded the public.[/font][/size]
[size=10.5pt][font=宋体] Wu advised the public to check their credit card accounts regularly and to use cards carefully, especially when making purchases or doing bank transfers online. " People using bank cards abroad must pay special attention, only use them in proper shops, and never let the card leave their sight."[/font][/size]
[font=宋体][size=10.5pt] 公安部新闻发言人武和平说，上半年信用卡诈骗案件数量上涨近1/3，涉案金额达4460万元。武和平提醒社会公众在使用ATM机提款，网上银行，并输入个人信息时要特别小心。他建议公众定期检查信用卡账户，网上购物或操作银行转账时要特别小心。另外，游客在境外使用信用卡时要特别注意，要在正规商场和消费场所使用，信用卡不要脱离自己的视线。[/size][/font]
