重点解说：

★ 由于had better (do)含有命令或忠告之意，当对象为长辈或不很熟的人时，不要以you做句子的主词，可以采取It would be better for you to (do)...的说法。Had better (do)的否定用法为had better not (do)。
★ take ~ day(s) off「请~天假，休~天假」
★ the last ~「最不愿意[可能]~的」此语用于强调极不愿意做某事，或某事极不可能发生或成真。the last person I want to see「最不想见的人」，这样的"the last ~"带有将之排除在自己的选择范围之外的味道，例如Karaoke bar is the last place she would go to.「卡拉OK酒吧是她最不想上的地方。」
