My uncle was not concerned with the beautiful views of Copenhagen, but he did take interest in the sight of a tower on a nearby island. After spotting the tower, he declared that we would go there, and immediately arranged for a small ship to take us there.
我叔叔对哥本哈根的美丽景色不感兴趣，但是却被附近岛上的一座塔吸引住了。看到这座塔之后，他宣布我们要去哪儿，并立即安排了一艘船带我们去。
"We're going up there," my uncle said.
“我们上去，”我叔叔说。
"But it will make me dizzy!" I exclaimed.
“可我会头晕的！”我叫道。
"That is the reason we are going. You must get used to climbing, as we'll have to climb a mountain in Iceland, then climb down to the center of the earth."
“这正是我们上去的原因。你必须适应攀登，因为我们要在冰岛爬山，然后还要爬到地心。”
"But…"
“可是……”
"Come. Let's not waste time."
“快点。别浪费时间了。” grauben! What delightful walks Grauben and I could have taken along the sea, but my darling Grauben was far away, and I wasn't sure if I would ever see her again.
如果我和格劳班能在海边一起散步那该多好啊，但她离我好遥远，而且我也不确定还能不能再见到她。 如果此刻我能和格劳班一块漫步在海滩，那该多好啊！但是我亲爱的格劳班却不在我的身边，况且连我自己都不知道能不能再见到她一面。
