My dog clung like a limpet to the thief.
At this time, a wall of the house went down with a crash because the earth quaked fiercely, and I lost my balance and fell to the ground.
Fortunately, the falling bricks did not hurt me, however, the thief was not as lucky as me, he was pinned under the collapsed wall, and groaned with pain.
