My current job
My current jobNow I am managing a small translation team made up of four people in an IT company based in Shenzhen.
Basically I am responsible for two things: efficiency of our work, and translation quality.
First I have to ensure we can meet the deadline requested by those who demand the translation, and make sure everybody in the team is working as efficiently as they can.
To ensure translation quality, I should first find and hire right people to do the job; second I should routinely check their work, and if it is not up to the mark, I would either ask them to redo it, or do some proofreading, editing and polishing on it.
Sometimes I also do translation myself for really important stuff, or when everybody else is fully occupied.
For a managerial employee, doing translation or proofreading is not supposed to be the major part of my work, rather making other people work hard for me. It is especially true for large teams, for those holding high positions in the corporate ladder. My team is small, but still I am responsible for the work of the other members. I shall always bear this in mind if I want to hold on to this job. Glad to see you post.
May you happy working. believe you will make you term morn and morn stronge
i cannot know whether my grammer right or not
there is why i come here can we make a friend ?
