:qq73] read the joke carefully and answer the question why the dog has not been back to gain the score.

A dog owner claimed that his pet, when given money, would go to the news stall to buy a paper. His friend insisted on a demonstration(演示) and handed the dog some money - The dog trotted(小跑) off, but an hour later he had still not returned with the paper.
“How much did you give him?” asked the owner.
“Five dollars.”
“he must be waiting for the coming days”

The dog is not clever enough who just know the linear thinking style,though it's a amazing dog.

Because you can just use one dollar  to buy one newspaper.It means that five dollars can buy five pieces of paper.And the dog is  so clever that it will not come back until buying  five pieces of paper .
