【consort with sb】

[size=5]此处指与某人结交（尤指不合适的人），用这词是表现出了Blair对Nelly的鄙视，认为她不配与自己结交。再比如美剧中常提到医生与病人是不能交往的，可以说The doctors are instructed not to consort with their patients[/size]
