The unusual large crowd for Angelus(The Angelus, sung by the Daughters of Mary in Latin)as it is known gathered six days before the Pope announced he will step down on February 28th,he asked the group to pray for him and the Pope who will succeed him. ________________________Iraqi authorities say a number of car bombs exploded in predominantly Shi'ite districts of Baghdad, killing about 30 people and wounding around 100 others. Today’s attack struck a series of outdoor markets in and around the Iraqi capital, with somewhere between 28 to 37 people killed. Targeted districts include Sadr city with three car bombings as well as Ameen, Habibiya, Husseiniya, Kamiliya and Karrada.
