The president called the move irresponsible. Here’s Katy Watson. _________________________________________________ While the vote in the Republican-controlled House of Representatives has approved a stopgap bill, it’s also included a provision to cut funding to Obamacare, a move that President Obama criticised saying it risked a tailspin for the recovering US economy. He added that if the debt ceiling wasn’t raised, America would be a deadbeat.
