Read the joke carefully and translated the sentences which are marked
in red or write down  your feeling to gain the score。

[color=red] A player in the center of the front row in each picture holds[/color]
[color=red] a basketball identifying the year －"62-63", "63-64", "64-65", etc.[/color]
One day I spotted a freshman looking curiously at the photos.
Turning to me, he said, "Isn't it strange how the teams always lost by one point?"

I don't quite understand what is the red sentence mean? But I think it is really funny. I feel it's not really a joke. It could happen right out there. Therefore, I think it's funny to me!
