划线的这句不能理解,我这样认为,不知道对不对,总觉不通.

a little hard,我觉得是the cold winter wind had brought with it ,而 it 指代的是clouds so sombre,and a rain so penetrating--冬日的凛冽寒风带来了阴沉的云和刺骨的雨
