Can you recognise the children who dreamed of gold?

At the London Games, China has gained 38 gold medals. While China continues to show dominance in sports that traditionally strong in, such as table tennis, gymnastics, and diving, it’s also clinched ten golds in sports that it hasn’t excelled in, in the past.

China is now excelling in a wider range of events, including swimming, track and field, and cycling.

Here are some photos show 6 of China's Olympic champions in their early ages - before they'd ever even dreamed of winning a gold medal. Can you recognise the children who dreamed of gold?

For a long time, these two events have been monopolized by Chinese players and other countries are gradually losing interests in them, so the IOC is considering to remove these two events out of the Olympics.
