【了解一下水果中的维他命】List of Vitamins Found in Fruits

It's long been known that fruits should play an important role in your diet. This is largely because produce carries most of the vitamins and minerals your body needs to operate and survive. From energy production to cell health, the body's function relies on your consumption of fruit.
Vitamin A
Vitamin A is found in many fruits including melons, kiwi, oranges, blackberries and peaches. Vitamin A is used in the body for formation of hormones, immunity, cell reproduction and vision health. It is also used to promote healthy bones, teeth, skin and hair.

Vitamin B
Vitamin B can be found in many forms throughout many different kinds of fruits. Types of vitamin B found in fruits include B1 in watermelon, B2 in kiwis, B3 in tomatoes and bananas, B5 in oranges, B6 in watermelon and bananas, and B9 in blackberries and strawberries. Each B vitamin has its own functions including everything from energy production and metabolism to the creation of antibodies for the immune system.

Vitamin C
Vitamin C is one of the most well-known vitamins that can be found in fruit. Vitamin C can be found in limes, peaches, apples, oranges, grapes, kiwis and strawberries (just to name a few). Vitamin C is important to the body as an antioxidant. Antioxidants protect the body from substances known as free radicals, which can damage your body's tissues and leave you open to a host of different diseases.

Vitamin E
Vitamin E can be found in blackberries, bananas, kiwis and apples. Vitamin E is a crucial component to the making of red blood cells, and like vitamin C, also acts as an antioxidant against free radicals.
