No matter what I do, I do it directly.  So I choose "b".

Stew over it.
I can't find the phrase "Stew over" in mang dictionaris. It is not a phrase ???
I just know :stew:
To suffer with oppressive heat or stuffy confinement.
So I can guess the a ,but  "Make a crack"
做出反击?? 或者是  澄清事实??
work as hard as possible!

Stew over it:为此闷闷不乐,(stew over 不安,担忧)

Make a crack:说俏皮话
