Thoughtful response
When you can find a way to do it calmly, you'll do it with
more strength and effectiveness. Becoming tense, agitated,
frantic and angry will indeed get you a lot of attention,
but it probably won't get much accomplished.
The most profound and enduring strength is found and
expressed in calmness. What is done in a state of high
anxiety can be done much more powerfully in a state of calm
determination.
When you feel like lashing out, stop and consider this. Do
you want to make the situation worse with a frantic
reaction, or would you prefer to make positive progress with
a thoughtful response?
Your options will greatly multiply when you take the time to
think them through. Your effectiveness will greatly increase
when you address the situation with a powerful, purposeful,
positive plan.
The passion of the moment may feel strong, yet if you depend
on passion alone it will quickly burn out. Instead, redirect
that passion into a calm, positive, thoughtful response, and
its energy will continue much longer, accomplishing much
more.
The more calmly you express yourself, the more powerful and
effective that expression will be. Be peaceful and you will
be strong.
