One evening, Tangming went to a supermarket to buy some fruits and vegetables. The store was very crowded with shoppers. An American girl came up to him and said, " Excuse me, but I want to buy some milk. Do you know where it is?" Tangming knew where it was. But he did not know how to answer in English. He could only point out the place to the girl. Tangming was very unhappy, because he couldn't even say "over there" in English. He decided to study English much harder.
