The colors of the rings are significant because they include the colors of every nation's flag. Rings are a universal symbol for unity and the perfect image to reinforce the message of global unity promoted by the Olympic Games. One of the new buildings being constructed for the Beijing Olympics is the "Water Cube" or the National Swimming Center. It has bubbles covering its surface and has a shape very similar to the structure of "H2O." And it will be open to the public as a recreational water park after the games.
