　　12月的四级考试即将到来。阅读部分一直是四级考试中的重点。
　　阅读部分是四级考试的重中之重，但大家也不必过于担忧， 6月份新四级考试快速阅读部分的题目总体来讲难度是可以接受的。从中我们可知一些以后复习中要注意的事项。
　　第一，原文中有些核心单词和概念不理解，如“identity theft”和“identity fraud” ，建议遇到不理解的核心概念可以用符号来替换。如：根据上下文可大概判断“identity theft”似乎是一种犯罪，因此可以用“crime”来替换；
　　第二， NG (not given)：连续三次考试NG都出现在前七题的后三题中(06年6月在第六题，06年12月在第七题，07年6月在第五题)，说明难题分布有一些特点；
　　第三，可通过大小标题了解文章中心话题；
　　第四，总体来说题目找答案遵循从前往后的顺序，但可能会有一两个个别题的答案需要打破顺序找答案；
　　第五，快速阅读的话题可能会涉及到社会的热门话题。

　　1. Robert Ellis Smith believes identity theft is difficult to detect and one can hardly do anything to prevent it.
　　本题答案为Yes，因为原文第三段明确谈到“It affects everybody, and there’s very little you can do to prevent it and, worst of all, you can’t detect until it’s probably too late” , “我们很难防止身份盗窃，最糟糕的是当你发现身份盗窃时可能为时已晚” 。
　　2. In many cases, identity theft not only causes the victims’ immediate financial losses but costs them a lot to restore their reputation.
　　本题答案为Yes，原文第四段末句明确谈到身份盗窃会引起经济损失以及为了恢复名誉而造成的其他损失。

　　1. 关键词找不准怎么办？
　　那就根据题干所涉及的话题来定位。
　　2. 最后一段时间应该复习什么？
　　先确定自己的不足，是单词量不够还是难句理解有问题，是找答案没有方向还是阅读速度慢，是写作不行还是听力水平不高。有的放矢的复习才是有意义的。
　　3. 背单词要背到什么程度？
　　背单词可以有以下几种程度：第一，可知，一看这个单词就能想起它的意思；第二，可析，能够分析单词，了解其相关用法；第三，可忆，能够随时想起这个单词，在写作时能够用这个单词。其实，很多单词掌握到第一个程度就可以应付考试了，但是掌握到最后一个程度，才能把英语真正学好。

　　英文小说、报纸、与专业相关的英语资料等都是扩大阅读量的可取读物。其实，我们没必要天天和试题打交道，能力提高了，通过考试自然水到渠成。
