__________________________________.The attack occurred near Wedge Island, an area known as a family destination about 160 kilometers north of Perth. A visibly shaking witness told Australian Television he had been riding a jet ski nearby when he saw the attack. He described what he called a massive great white shark circling the body. He said when he tried to move in, the shark came at him and tried to knock him off the jet ski. The Western Australian State, Department of Fisheries has confirmed the victim was attacked by what they believed was a great white shark. Officials said local beaches around the area have been closed.
