Recently, Circular of the General Office of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued a new regulation on the distribution and use of the government car. The requirement to the distribution of the government car to the provincial level officials and the organization of the government car of the party and government organizations and institutions directly under them becomes much stricter. The standard and number of the distribution of the government car will decrease.

近日,中共中央办公厅和国务院办公厅将出台有关公车配备使用的新规定,其中对省部级干部公车配备的标准排气量、党政机关和直属事业单位公务用车的编制规定都更加严格,公车配备的标准和总数量将下降。

近年来,全国公车数量从来没有官方数据发表,有分析认为大约为300万至350万辆,每年公务用车消费支出约为3000亿至4000亿元。长期以来,公车改革一直未取得实质进展。

此次改革,一些话题再次成为公众关注和热议的焦点:补贴会不会成为变相加薪?公车数量是不是“糊涂账”?

    If they could spend the expense on improving our country's education.then there must be less and less crrupt officials.
