“潘一恒生命的最后一刻，肯定紧急刹车了。”动车组福州机务段动车司机白云说，“在运行位时，刹车闸把是与司机平行的，只有推至紧急制动位时，刹车闸把才斜对着胸口，加上巨大的冲击力，才能把胸口捅出一个大洞。”以动车正常行驶的车速，当时留给潘一恒的反应时间大概只有两三秒时间。
