The hills are alive with the sound of music,

      　　With songs they have sung for a thousand years.

      　　The hills fill my heart with the sound of music

      　　My heart wants to sing every thing every song it hears.

      　　My heart wants to beat

      　　Like the wings of the birds that rise

      　　From the lake to the trees.

      　　My heart wants to sigh like a chime that flies

      　　From a church on a breeze

      　　To laugh like a brook when it trips

      　　And falls over stones on its way.

      　　To sing through the night

      　　Like a lake who is learning to pray.

      　　I go to the hills when my heat is lonely.

      　　I know I will hear what I've heard before.

      　　My heart will be blessed with the sound of music,

      　　And I'll sing once more.

      　　音乐声回荡在群山之间，

      　　传唱千年的歌声在飘扬。

      　　山峦唤起我心中的音乐，

      　　我的心想唱出听到的每首歌每件事。

      　　鸟儿振翅的节拍

      　　飞过湖面飞过树林。

      　　我的心想与钟声齐轻叹

      　　乘风飞出教堂。

      　　如淙淙溪流般欢笑!

      　　一路在石子上轻盈跳跃。

      　　如彻夜高歌，

      　　学习祈祷的云雀。

      　　心灵孤寂的时候我就来到群山中。

      　　我知道会听到从前听过的声音。

      　　音乐声洗涤我的心灵，

      　　我将会再一次地歌唱。

      　　My heart wants to beat 我心澎湃

      　　Like the wings of the birds that rise 像小鸟展翅

      　　From the lake to the trees. 从湖中飞向树丫

      　　My heart wants to sigh 叹息like a chime鸣响 that flies 我心叹息像飞过的一阵鸣响

      　　From a church on a breeze 来自教堂的一阵微风

      　　To laugh like a brookbrook  [brʊk] 小溪when it trips 像小溪的流淌打在石头般的大笑声

      　　And falls over stones on its way.

      　　To sing through the night

      　　Like a lake who is learning to pray. 通宵高歌像小湖在练习祷告

      　　I go to the hills when my heat is lonely.
