每一届奥运会，主题歌都是大众关注的焦点之一。一些经典奥运会主题歌一直传唱到今天，成为奥林匹克宝贵的文化遗产。而能成为主题歌的演唱者，对歌手来讲也是至高无上的荣誉。那么“奥运会主题歌”用英文怎么表达呢？

A theme song can be rehearsed in the privacy of a studio or even a living room. That makes it much more difficult to predict who will sing the all-important tune, which will be guaranteed a zillion air plays in the next year.
主题歌可能会在一个秘密工作室甚至某个普通房间里进行排练。这样一来，想要预测谁会演唱这首来年将被广泛传播的歌曲就更难了。
上述报道中，theme song是“主题歌”，Olympic theme song就是“奥运会主题歌”，有时候也可以用theme tone来表示“主题歌”的意思；如果要表示“主题曲”这个更加宽泛的概念，则可以用theme music。
