在英语学习中或生活中，常会碰到“厕所”英语怎么说。前几天，我在学习中碰到这样的一个英语句子：
      1. Can I use your loo?  我可以用一下洗手间（厕所）吗？
         原来 loo 是厕所；卫生间。以前从没学到过。为此，我就把厕所（卫生间）的单词找一找，真有帮助。现在把我粗浅的学习体会，接着写出来，供参考，并请多多指教。
      2. john 厕所。
         Example: 1）I need to go to the john.  我要去上厕所。
                        2）I have to go to the john. Wait for me in the car.  我要上厕所，在车里等我一会儿。
      3. convenience 厕所；便利
            gentlemen's convenience 男厕所
      4. bathroom 卫生间；浴室；厕所
         Where is the bathroom, please? 请问卫生间在哪儿？
      5. restroom 厕所；洗手间
         Does anyone need to go to the restroom?  请问各位是否需要上洗手间？
         这句，我想很实用。如果我们在英语国家坐大巴旅游时，车停下来了，导游一喊：Does anyone meed to go to the restroom? 是问我们是不是要上厕所，可不是问我们要不要去休息室呵！
      6. toilet  厕所；马桶
         I have no time to go to the toilet. 我没有时间上厕所。
         I hate cleaning the toilet and the sinks. 我讨厌清洗马桶和洗脸槽。

谢谢kobe 和tingroom 的鼓励。我有时比较忙，不过会尽量抽时间学习英语。走过漫长的曲折、失败的学习之路，会更珍惜时间。从我的现在实际情况来看，深刻体会到，目前最适合学习的是《初级美国英语教程》，慢慢来，持之以恒，总会有进步的。请你们和网友们多多指教！再次谢谢！

那wc呢？这是什么单词的缩写……

我在网上查了一下，W.C. 是 water closet 缩写。water closet 意为有抽水设备的厕所－－抽水马桶。后来人们为了方便，就把 water closet 的字首 W.C. 当作 toilet （厕所）的代名词了。
还有一说，W.C. 是 wash closet 的缩写形式。
供参考，请大家多多指正。谢谢！
