■ 1. 挂号

✔ 首先，看病前我们都知道要先「挂号」，挂号的说法就是词组 “make an appointment”

I’d like to make an appointment with Doctor Wang, please.

你好，我想要预约跟王医师的门诊。




■ 2. 描述症状

✔ 见到医生后，医生会问你有什么症状：

What problem do you have?

你觉得哪里不对劲？

What are your symptoms?

你有什么症状呢？

✔ 这里替大家整理了一些旅游上常会碰到的症状，最基本的就是这一句：

I feel sick. / I don’t feel well.

我不舒服。

✔ 不过如果只会这两个，医生也帮不上忙的，所以来看看接下来的明确病症英文：

I have a headache.

我头痛。

I have a migraine.

我偏头痛。

I have a throbbing headache.

我头抽痛。

I have a ringing in my ear.

我耳鸣。

I have a stomachache.

我肚子痛。

I have heartburn.

我的胃灼热。

I am hypoglycemic.

我血糖过低。

I have a cold sweat.

我冒冷汗。

I have pins and needles.

我有神经痛。

I have a swollen foot.

我脚踵起来。

I have a bone fracture.

我骨折。

I have a pain in my knee joints.

我膝关节疼痛。

I have a stiff shoulder.

我肩膀僵硬。

I have a rash on my face.

我脸上起红疹子。

I have little spots all over my body.

我全身起小疹子。

I sprained my ankle.

我扭到脚踝。

✔ 也可以描述你的感觉，方便医生诊断：

I feel nauseous.

我觉得反胃想吐。

My chest feels heavy.

胸口有压迫感。




■ 3. 领药

看完医生后，他会开给你一个领药的处方签 (prescription)，你要拿去药局 (pharmacy) 请药师 (pharmacist) 开药给你，这时问题来了，「请帮我开药！」的英文该怎么说？给个提示：Please ____ the prescription.

✔ 在某些时候，你可能得到这样的回覆：

Hey, don’t worry about this, it’s an “over-the-counter” drug.

别担心，这是一个不需要处方签的药。




■ 4. 吃药

最后，拿了药，别忘了仔细阅读药品上的标签 (label)，上面的信息会告诉你用药量、副作用或是注意事项，要是吃错了会影响疗效的！「服用两颗药丸配开水」的英文该怎么说？eat two pills? 还是 have two pills? 都不是！

✔ 正确说法是：”Take two pills” with water.

✔ 你还有可能在标签上看到一些副作用 (side effect)：

Will make you tired, will make you go to the washroom more than often.

会让你疲劳，会让你要跑洗手间。

✔ 所以在领药时，可以先询问药师：

Is there any side effect?

这有副作用吗？

Is the medicine “drowsy” or “non-drowsy”?

这个药是＿＿＿或＿＿＿＿？
