read the story carefully and then translate the phrases which are marked in red or write down what
you get from the story to gain the score. 试着翻译红色的部分或者发表自己的看法.

                                 The Secret of Life
   As the Lord God was creating the world he called upon his archangels .The Lord asked his archangels to help him decide where to put the secret of life.
“Bury it in the ground,”one angel replied.
“Put it on the bottom of the sea,”said another.
“Hide it in the mountains,” another suggested.
   The Lord replied, “If I see to do any of those, only a few will find the secret of life. The secret of life must be accessible to EVERY-ONE!”
   One angel replied, “I know: put it in each man’s heart .Nobody will think to look there.”
   “Yes!”said the Lord. “Within each one’s heart.”
   And so it was –The SECRETOF LIFE lies within all of us.

如果我按照你们所说的任何一种方法去做，那么将仅有几个人可以找到生命的秘密，而生命的秘密必须是每个人都很容易找到的

The Secret of Life 生命的秘决

当上帝创造出他的世界时,他号召他的大天使.上帝要求他的大天使去帮助他决定在哪里安置生命的秘决

"埋葬在土里",一只天使回答。

   “埋在海底。”另一只天使回答。
“Hide it in the mountains,” another suggested.
“埋在山中。”又一只天使建议。
   The Lord replied, “If I see to do any of those, only a few will find the secret of life. The secret of life must be accessible to EVERY-ONE!”
上帝回答说，：如果我看到你们所做的一切，只要很少一部分人就可以找到生命的秘决了。寿命的秘决必须很容易找到对于每一个人来说”
   One angel replied, “I know: put it in each man’s heart .Nobody will think to look there.”
   一只天使回答，“我知道：藏于人的心里。没有人会想着去看那儿的。”
   “Yes!”said the Lord. “Within each one’s heart.”
   “是的！”上帝说。“在每一个人的心里面。”
   And so it was –The SECRETOF LIFE lies within all of us.
