He told them that you can’t judge a tree ,or a person ,by only one season ,and that the essence of who they are-and a pleasure ,joy,and love that come from that life-can only be measured at the end ,when all the seasons are up.
     If you give up when it’s winter,you will miss the promise of you spring ,the beauty of  your  summer,fullillment of your fall.Dont’t let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest.
他告诉儿子们，你们不能判断一个人，一棵树或是一个季节，因为一个快乐，乐趣或者爱只有到生活结束时才能被判断。
如果你在冬天就放弃了，那么你将会错过春天的希望，夏天的美丽和秋天的丰硕。不要让一个季节的平白破坏了其他几季节的乐趣~
