If you are in an elevator, let's say like a 40 floor building... and you were on floor 40th and your elevator's cables break, soon you start falling at an increasing speed...

Now the question is:

What would happen if you jump while it's dropping?
Would you be lifted to the roof?
Would you drop down to the floor?
