Numerous studies have shown that a couples' satisfaction with their marriage takes a nose dive after the first child is born. Sleepless nights and fights over whose turn it is to change diapers can leach the fun out of a relationship.

Maybe.
By now,most couple's(couples) are single,they have not know(known如果使用完成时，要用过去分词） how to take care of others,even though they need others to take care of them.

It's too sad~!Babies are so lovely,If don't learn well how to love others ,we 'd better to (to 应该删掉，had better后加动词原形）not get married.
