还有一些琐碎的事情，不得不提一提：考口语前大家最好洗个澡，刷刷牙(尤其是男生，老外最讨厌身上有异味的人了，包括口臭。)，可以的话喷一点香水(老外最喜欢了，呵呵)。女生最好化化妆，但注意是轻妆，千万别浓妆艳丽地去考场吓唬考官(这不是选美)。

　　去考场的时候带点水，在下推荐康师傅纯洁水或绿茶(因为在下天津人嘛，哈哈)，因为你肯定最早要提前1小时左右到考场，如果你等待考试期间渴了的话，找水可不水那么容易的啊。也可以带1个口香糖(吃完别乱拽啊，大家要注意环保)。
　　以上就是在下对口语的一点拙见，仅供参考，如果有什么好的建议可以在这和大家交流，在下也可以请教一下。好了回到正题吧，下面我给大家介绍IELTS的TOPIC（原来有16，现在有点变动，但不大）：

第三部分、参加雅思口语考试的亲身经历
　　我发现两个问题要特别注意：1. 问题都是事先准备好的，考官只是低着头听你说，找毛病，并不与你争辩，因此很难转移话题。
　　2. 任何可能的话题都要成充分准备，可以参考北京外国语大学出的〈汉译英口语教程〉，里面有城市介绍、体育、教育、经济和改革开放、工业、农业、外贸、妇女、儿童、老人、医药、人口、军事、宗教、环保、特区政策等等，几乎是应有尽有。
　　通过询问考完的战友，考前1个小时，我已经确定口语的Topic集中在3大方面：1.老人问题；2.电影问题；3.交通问题。
　　考官是Andrew Morgan,一个很绅士化的40多岁的英国人，语速较慢，发音很准。他先告诉我别紧张，如果紧张的话，就深呼吸。我告诉他没问题，可以开始了。接着，他对着录音机开始说”这是。。。考点，考官是。。。”等套话。

　　然后，他问我怎么称呼我，我说“Please call me James." 他马上就接着说"Well, James. Please describe your hometown." 等我说差不多时，他又问“Do you like shopping?"我说我既不喜欢也很几乎不去shopping。

　　此外，就我所知，大多数男人不喜欢shopping。有资料表明，女人shopping时能产生欢愉感，而男人会感到压力，具体表现是血压会明显升高。当然，偶尔我妻子会硬拖着我去shopping,不过，到了商场门口时，我总是对她说”你进去慢慢逛，我会在门口等你的。”他忍不住在笑，我就问他是否有同感。他笑而不答，转到Topic2去了。例行公事地告诉我，可准备1分钟，然后讲2~3分钟。

　　Topic2是电影，3个问题，
　　1.“Desicribe a film you have seen, what is its topic?"
　　2.”Where did it happen?"
　　3."Does it has a happy end or a sad one?"

　　我扫了一眼，想了15秒种，问他可以开始回答吗，他有点惊异，不过还是说OK。我就告诉他我结婚10年了，10年内从没看过任何电影，因为我们两人都不喜欢看；更主要的原因是我没时间，我是个工作狂，每天工作14小时以上，即使有点空闲，譬如上厕所时，也只喜欢看中国的古书，象〈论语〉、〈左传〉、〈史记〉等等等等。结婚前也从不看电影，因为我个人认为看电影是浪费时间，我只喜欢看书。所以，对我来说很难描述什么电影。我问他我必须描述一场电影吗。他居然说Yes。

　　我说你太难为我了，然后就给他讲我7岁时看过的”闪闪的红星“，江西的，长征时什么什么的，我认为应该是个大团圆的结局。不过时间实在太久了，记忆有些模糊，非常抱歉等等。

　　突然，他问我，你刚才说的电影叫什么，我说“Brilliant red Star"。他又问”可以在商店买到碟片吗？”我告诉他“抱歉，我不清楚。不过我想可能不行，因为这电影太老了，现在的年轻人不会喜欢，没市场。所以，我猜测不会有碟片的”。

　　然后，他关掉了录音机，看了看窗外，说“天都黑了”（我是5：20分考的，倒数第二个，此时已经5：35了）。我说“是啊，忙了一天，想必你也很累了。”他说“还好，还好”。然后就说88
