生命的长短不是用呼吸多少次衡量的,而是呼吸的那些瞬间。别担忧什么,为所有一切祈祷吧!
1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay 'them.'
抛开那些无关紧要的数字,包括年龄啦,体重啦,以及身高啦,让医生们去操心那些吧,这就是为啥你付钱给医生的原因。
2. 2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.
结交快乐的朋友,整日愁眉不展只能让你雪上加霜。
3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.'
坚持学习。多学些有关计算机,工艺品,园艺,任何方面的知识都行,就是不要大脑无所事事。“空闲的头脑是魔鬼的加工厂”。
4. Enjoy the simple things.
享受那些简简单单的事情。
5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
经常长时间的大笑,直到笑到喘不过起来。
6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves (and GOD). Be ALIVE while you are alive.
有泪就要流出来。忍耐,悲伤,再出发。陪伴我们整个人生的只有我们自己(和上帝)。要好好活着。
7. Surround yourself with what you love , whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
让你爱的人或事环绕着你。不管你爱的是家人,宠物,纪念品,还是音乐,盆栽,兴趣爱好,任何一切都要围绕着你。家就是你的避风港。
8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
珍爱你的健康。如果很健康,继续保持。如果时好时坏不稳定,改善它。如果问题超出你改进的范围,要寻求帮助。
9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is.
别去让你愧疚的地方。你可以去逛街,甚至到邻县,到外国旅行,但是不要去会让你愧疚的地方。
10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
抓住每一次机会,告诉你所爱的人,你爱他们。
