The world makes way for the man who knows where he is going.这里who引导定语从句。人做先行词时，关系代词用who或whom。如：

The man who is wearing a black jacket is my boss. （穿着黑色荚克的那位男士是我的老板。）

That is the man whom I met in Beijing last year.（他就是我去年在北京碰见的那个人。）

where he is going是一个宾语从句，在做宾语从句时，要用陈述语气
