for instance：

1，we will get nowhere if we rely on luck .
  如果我们靠运气的话，我们将一事无成。
2，you will get nowhere if you take a hand-line stance all the time .
     如果你一直采取强硬的立场，你就无法取得进展。

practice：

1，不更加努力工作的话，你的人生不会有什么起色。
2，方向意味着目标，在生活中， 没有目标就一事无成。
