i agree with laura6688's translation very much.i think nobody likes the kids who pick up apples from the trees which do not belong to themselves.when the old man heard that Amy with her friend did not go for his apple trees,but for listening to music and playing games,he was more willing to give apples to them as a present.so we should always tell our kids not to pick up anything which do not belong to themselves.
