This pictures were taken on May 24, 2007, at the first pole dancing club in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, but most dancers would not face the camera. The initiator of the club wish to popularize pole dance as a good exercise, like yoga. However, a recent survey says that only 30% of Suzhou citizens accept pole dance, even fewer would like to go to pole dance clubs.
