dressing不仅有穿衣的意思，还有敷料、调味品的意思，而蛋黄酱确是一种美国人喜欢敷在蔬菜沙拉上的调料。所以这个笑话是利用了dressing的双关语义。直译：“蛋黄酱和冰箱说了什么？” “关上门！我是调料。”。 双关意：“蛋黄酱和冰箱说了什么？” “关上门！我在穿衣服。”
