Despite the conflict within the military ranks, voting on Madagascar's new constitution was calm.
尽管在军衔之争上起了冲突，但在投票选举马达加斯加岛的新的宪法上却少有人关注。

About 18,000 polling booths across Madagascar opened at dawn to allow the island nation's 7 million registered voters to vote 'yes' or 'no' on the draft charter.
星期三一大早马达加斯加岛上就有18,000个投票点向民众开放了，这个岛国上的登记选民都有权投票支持或否决这项草拟宪章。

President Andry Rajoelina cast his vote in Antananarivo and urged his countrymen to do the same.
