A tall upright tree appreciates its body and it is proud of it. One day, a woodpecker stopped by the tree. The woodpecker heard the voices of many insects eating in the trunk. So the woodpecker pecked a hole in the tree trunk with its long beak, ready to eat the insects.
The tree was very angry. It could not tolerate that its beautiful branches were destroyed into many holes. So the tree scolded the woodpecker and put it away.
The trunk of the tree gradually grew larger and there were more and more insects. They constantly gnawed at the trunk, gradually eating it out.
One day, when there was a strong wind blowing, it blew down the tree.
