little / a little用来修饰不可数名词，little表示否定意思，没有，几乎没有。 a little 表示肯定意思，有一点儿。
例如：There is little ink in my bottle, can you gire me a little ink? 我的瓶子里没有墨水了，你能给我点儿墨水吗？
few / a few用来修饰可数名词，few表示否定意义，没有，几乎没有；a few表示有肯定意思， 有几个。
例如：He has few friends here, he feels lonely.他这里没朋友，他感觉寂寞。 There are a few eggs in the basket.篮子里有几个鸡蛋。
a bit 和a little都可作“一点”解,但用法不尽相同。
一、a bit 和 a little在肯定句中修饰动词、形容词、副词及其比较级时，可以互换。表示“一点儿”的意思。例如：
She likes bananas a bit/a little.她有点儿喜欢香蕉。
He came a bit/a little late.他来晚了一些。
She was a bit /a little thirsty.她有点渴。
Can you walk a bit/a little faster?难道你不能走得快一点吗？
二、a bit和a little在否定句中意思恰恰相反。 not a bit相当于 not at all（一点也不),not a little相当于 very(much)。例如：
I am not a bit hungry.我一点也不饿。
I am not a little hungry.我很饿。
He was not a bit tired.他一点也不累。
He was not a little tired.他非常累。
三、a little 可直接作名词的定语，而 a bit则要在后面加of构成短语才能作定语，二者都只能修饰不可数名词。例如：
Please give me a little water.请给我一点水。
Please give me a bit of water.请给我一点水。
There is a little(a bit of)juice in the bottle.瓶子里有一点果汁。
只能修饰可数名词的：a large/ great/ good number of, a good/ great many, dozens of, scores of, quite a few
只能修饰不可数名词的：a great deal of, a large amount of, quite a little,a large sum of
