                  blind date 相亲

A blind date refers to an arranged meeting for two people who have never meet each other before, in order to try to start a romantic relationship.

blind date就是通常所说的相亲见面会。date除了有日期的意思之外，还表示约会。相亲前双方都没有见过面，颇有点“夜里摸黑”的感觉，用blind描述就不难理解了。现在，除了blind date，speed date也很流行，它表示速配约会。

Examples:
I agree to go on a blind date as the matchmaker is my best friend.
我准备去参加相亲了，因为做媒的是我最好的朋友。

A large-scale “blind date” fair will be held at People’s Square on this Labor Day.
劳动节一场大型相亲会将在人民广场举行。

    Yes,but only once.I've regretted it very much.It's very boring and time consuming.

    使用完成式的话have 后要加 had 啊。

    You won't want to have a second time when you have once gone to a blind date.
