前言：
      面对强大的外星球入侵者，面对世界末日，地球人并没有落泪，而是抑制住恐惧，面对危险，进行反攻。这段战前宣言是美国总统在亲临战场前向广大民众发表的激情演讲。
      Good morning. In less than an hour, aircrafts from here will join others from around the world， and you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. Mankind, that word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interest. Perhaps it’s fate that today is Fourth of July and you will once again be fighting for our freedom, not from tyranny, oppression or persecution, but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live, to exist. And should we win the day, the Fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declare in one voice：“ We will not go quietly into the night, we will not vanish without a fight, we are going to live on, we are going to survive! ”Today, we celebrate our Independence Day!

1、our common interests:我们共同的利益。common:在这里是“共有的，共同做的”的意思。
eg:common property:共同的财产/We share a  common purpose.我们有共同的目标。
2、persecution:迫害；
3、annihilation:歼灭，消灭；
4、go quietly into the night:束束手无策。
