重点解说：

★ against my better judgment「虽然明知不智」此语表示虽然明知做某事是不智的或不可取的，自己仍然没头没脑的做了。cf. He is a man of good [poor] judgment.「他的判断力很好[很差]。」"Don't be judgmental."一语也很常用，意思是「不要主观的下判断。」

★ reliable「可靠的，值得信赖的(=dependable, trustworthy)」
