They have long been available in red and white.

And now for the American market it seems only fitting that the rose will now be available in blue.

The mythical blue flower will finally go on sale in the United States and Canada for the first time this autumn.
这种神话中的蓝色玫瑰终将于今年秋天首次在美国和加拿大面市。
The flowers will be available at selected florists from the beginning of November.

Named "Applause" the rose is created using genetic modification to synthesise a pigment found in blue flowers know as delphinidin.

And while it may appear purple in colour, it is the nearest to a blue flower scientists have come so far.

Blue roses also have mythical qualities because until the Japanese discovery they were impossible to grow.

Sometimes they're the same, but I don't think they equal to each other.
