Why can't we all just get along and live together side by side in peace and harmony!

这一句中的together已经有“一起”意思了，为什么还要加个“side by side ” 呢？

live together是个短语

side by side 是肩并肩地。整个意思是肩并肩地一起。他就是要表达这种意思，所以加了。
