If the Thinker concerns artistic creation, the Kiss is about human procreation. When the Kiss was first shown in Britain,there were many voice of dissapproval. It is interesting in the 1888,the sculpture had been commissioned by the French state. No prudish worries inhibited the Father's of French nation. They misted Rodin and were right to leave him to his instinct,for he was a man who had thought more about public sculpture than they had.
