Master Yancan, head of the Buddhism Association in Cagzhou, Hebei province in northern China, was filming a video atop the beautiful Mount Emei, when he was distracted by a few cheeky monkeys hoping to get food from tourists.
The fun starts around minute 1:30 of the hilarious video, when the monkey that had been persistantly tugging on the monk's robe finally jumps on top of his head. The Zen master gave an impressive display of patience, even after a second monkey, and then a third, climbed on top the monk, knocking the mic out of his hands.
"As the years pass, let us bless our friends, let us bless everything," he persisted, MSNBC reported. "When the year's pass let us bless spring and the autumn."
