First, a Smartphone support mp3/mp4 player, you can download many pretty music or films to your machine; you needn’t to buy an extra mp3 player.
A Smartphone is also a game console; you can install many exciting games on your phone. And you can take photos by a Smartphone just as a camera, and the quality of the photos is quite fine.
Since a Smartphone is also a pocket PC, it has its own operate system. So you can install many kinds of software on it and this software provides Smartphone with a powerful function.
For example, maybe you like reading, but sometime a book could cost you a lot of money, if you have a Smartphone you can just download e-book to you machine, it is quite convenient for reading.
You can install an electric dictionary on your phone, and then you needn’t to take your thick heavy Oxford-dictionary any more. You can just use your Smartphone to look up new words.
Smartphone can also be a learning machine. it has some applications to support office reader, such as word, excel, ppt, pdf and so on. You can store your courseware in your machine, and use them for study. In this case, a Smartphone can be a good learning assistant.
Next, think about that, you are going to a big city to travel. And you want to go to somewhere but you don’t know where it is? How can you go there? Maybe you will say: “that’s easy, I have a map, I can find it in the map”, but it is also a very hard work to search a place in your complex map. If you have a Smartphone, everything will be easy. Just search the place by Google-map, it is software installed on your phone.
Some Smartphone even has GPS. With this, you will never need to worry about getting lost.
Finally, it is quite convenient for you to surfing the internet using a Smartphone, you can install some good net-explorers, and also some software like MSN, QQ, fetion and so on. Using them, you can connect to your friends any time you like. The Smartphone can also offer you a lot of timely news; you can keep touching with the world every minute.
I have heard a saying that “there is nothing you can’t do, but something can’t image”, I think the Smartphone is just the thing you couldn’t image before; it brings us too much convenience.
