音乐是全世界共通的语言。每个人都会欣赏音乐。每个人都能通过广播、电视、电影、DVD、CD和现场表演来聆听音乐。

听
Mary: "Do you like listening to music?" 你喜欢听音乐吗？
Anna: "Yes, I do, especially when I’m feeling emotional." 是的，我感性的时候尤其喜欢听音乐。

音乐是由一件能够演奏旋律的乐器或者被称为管乐的很多乐器构成的。

乐器
Mary: "Can you play any musical instruments?" 你会玩什么乐器吗？
Anna: "Yes, I can play the piano and the cello."是的，我会弹钢琴和拉大提琴。

每个国家都有各自传统的或者文化性的音乐。你可以买一张音乐CD或者DVD。你也可以去观看你喜欢的艺术家的音乐表演。当你到一个地方旅行，你会想要去听听当地的音乐。

传统或文化音乐
Jane: "Where can I find the best traditional music of your country?" 我在哪里可以找到你们国家最好的传统音乐？
Henry: "The national symphonic orchestra performs our traditional music in the state theatre on the weekends." 国家交响管弦乐队每周末在国家剧院演出我们的传统音乐。

CD 或者DVD
Jane: "Can I buy a CD and a DVD of this opera?" 我可以买一张这个歌剧的CD或者DVD吗？
Henry: "Yes, you can buy a CD and a DVD at any music shop or after the performance at the venue."可以，你可以在任何音像店里买到CD和DVD，或者你也可以在表演结束后在表演场所上买到。

表演就是一种唱歌或者演奏音乐的行为。

Music can purify the soul.When I'm sad,I will feel relaxed in music.

I have one point to add.For music type,I alway ask my friend: "what kind of music do you like best?"
And they do answer me like this:"Rock & roll(摇滚),Jazz(爵士),Classical(古典),Country music(乡村音乐),Pop(流行),R&B(嘻哈说唱),Folk(民歌),Blue(蓝调布鲁斯) and so on!"
